From Yard Sale, To Savers with Love

We had a major fall cleaning in our house last week in
preparation for fall and winter. It's pretty incredible seeing the
combined lot of "stuff we no longer need" that has been
accumulated over the past few seasons. Our neighborhood was
holding a community-wide yardsale and we
decided to join in on the fun. After all, it was great weather and we
got to meet some new people.

Overall, the day was a success! Plus, we had plenty of leftovers,
everything from shoes, handbags, jewelry, games, home decor, furniture
and clothes. We certainly didn't want to just leave them to the curb,
 we wanted to donate!
LuckilyWe've recently learned about the new
Savers Donation Drop Spots!
These Donation Drop Spots are located all over St. Louis for a more
convenient way to donate at the Savers Thrift Stores.
This worked our quite well for us, as the nearest
Savers for us is a bit of a drive, but we found a Donation Drop Spot
right down the street! The drop spots also benefit our local

Savers pays BBBS for every donation at these new drop spots
no matter what; even if your items never make it to
the Savers' sales floor. It's important for us to give
our items new life, as opposed to throwing them away,
especially since we are big thrifters ourselves. We want to pass
along the great find and all the storytelling that thrifted goods contain.
We are moved by Savers mission to help sustain our Environment by
keeping reusable goods out of landfills all the while supporting
non-profit groups that are special to our community.
It truly is a win-win!

To take part in this new collaboration we've provided  the list of St. Louis's Savers' Donation Drop Spots (ours was right by our house!):

o   8800 Manchester Road, Brentwood, MO 63144

including Bavarian pretzels, bratwurst, gingerbread cookies and more.
