stars & shorts

Looking for a last minute Fourth of July outfit? We've
got you covered with this quick and easy
bleach dyestar DIY!

There are a couple of methods that work best for this.
We are going to share what worked for us!

To Make:

We used a Clorox Bleach Pen and a
sponge to cut out a star pattern. We took our Clorox
bleach pen and began to draw the stars onto
our old pair of shorts. Then, we used the star
sponge to help smooth out the pen scribbles. You don't
have to use the sponge, we just found it helpful to
keep everything in its' shape. Then, once you are satisfied
with your design, allow the shorts to sit with the bleach.
Depending on the fabric, you may want to wait longer.
For our denim shorts, we let the bleach sit for a few hours
because the wash was a little lighter. For our Navy pair,
we let the bleach sit for about an hour.

Have fun with it, get creative
 and Happy DIY-ing!
