Simply Studding

We are {still} loving the stud trend. Especially since you can use it to your advantage for an easy DIY project to spice up your wardrobe.  We went to our local craft store and picked up a few packs of studs to turn this blazer into a 'studding' closet must-have.

It's really easy!  Just pick a piece from your closet that you want to revamp and decide where you want the studs to go.  We chose the front paneling of the blazer, but we also love the studded shoulder detail look.  Take your studs and pierce them into the desired position on your item.  Depending on which stud style you purchased, you will need to close the prongs on the inside of the item.   Continue this process until your desired look is achieved.

  2. Studding is a great way to revamp an old wardrobe piece- love it! If an item is normally wash + tumble dry, do you think you can still follow these instructions after adding studs, or should it be handwashed?

Thanks for the great idea. Can't wait to try it!

    1. Alicia- You should be able to wash as directed. I have several studded items that I just wash inside out on the gentle cycle with other items. Hope this helps.
